About the Bridging Fields Programme

The Bridging Fields programme from Royal Agricultural University offers charitably-funded, free continuing professional development (CPD) for UK-based academic researchers who want to work more effectively and collaboratively with farmers and growers.

What’s on Offer

  • Overnight residencies at the Royal Agricultural University in the Cotswolds for deep-dive farming and farm-centric research experiences
  • One-day workshops and online sessions over the next 18 months covering:
    • Co-design and co-production methodologies
    • Engaging farmers in research projects
    • On-farm experimentation techniques
    • Communication skills for researcher-farmer collaboration
