About the Bridging Fields Programme
The Bridging Fields programme from Royal Agricultural University offers charitably-funded, free continuing professional development (CPD) for UK-based academic researchers who want to work more effectively and collaboratively with farmers and growers.
What’s on Offer
- Overnight residencies at the Royal Agricultural University in the Cotswolds for deep-dive farming and farm-centric research experiences
- One-day workshops and online sessions over the next 18 months covering:
- Co-design and co-production methodologies
- Engaging farmers in research projects
- On-farm experimentation techniques
- Communication skills for researcher-farmer collaboration
